Happy Birthday, Mr. President
Forty eight years ago today President Barack Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. It was 1961. JFK was president, lunch counters and water fountains were still off limits in the south, and the notion of a black man becoming U.S. president was the stuff dreams were made of. It appears America still likes to reinvent herself. Happy B-Day, Sir.
